COF allows merchants to store payment credentials for future payments and faster checkouts. Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) allows a secure payment or purchase of goods or services during a remote payment experience that involves a checkout (commercial payment) and a user device. SRC offers services like Payment with Provisioned Token, Notifications of status changes, Associate Token with Trusted Device. Delete Device Associated with a Token, Mass Provisioning among others. These services allow the merchant to request the generation of tokens for the PANs of its clients that it has stored in card-of-file. These services reduced fraud risk by replacing PAN with tokens and improved lifecycle management: cards never expire, and stolen credentials can be quickly replaced, also improve customer shopping experience by improving authentication, authorization rates and reducing fraud
